Shoutout to Drew Markol, Philly sportswriter/hater and the King of Random Thoughts columns.
-I'm still trying to regain respect for the Red States. Carrie Underwood of Oklahoma makes it a lot easier.

-People who know me shouldn't be shocked by me saying this...I have been listening to the DC Oldies station down here the past few days. And I love it.When driving alone in your car either for a long trip or in traffic, the best way to kill time is to wail away to the oldies station.

- If the Sixers finish ahead of Cleveland at the end of the year, Iverson should be a LOCK for MVP. There, I said it. Look at the guys stats, he leads the league in scoring by 2 points (ahead of some guy who plays for the Lakers and rapes teenage girls) , 5th in assits, and 1st in steals. OH, and he's won at least 4 games for the Sixers on the last play (and that's just off the top of my head). Lebron has been unreal this year, but that team is spinning out of control and if the Sixers catch them, Iverson should steal enough votes from Lebron to get to the top.
This probably won't happen, mainly because of what he looks like, but that's another post for another time.

-Going in the sarcastic 'who knew?' camp: Tom Delay is a schmuck? The Phillies aren't good?(by the way, after hearing from Short that Sean Hannity is doing his radio show live from Citizens Bank Park in a couple of weeks makes my inevitable divorce with the Phillies that much easier. That team is the Tom Arnold of sports: The more you watch them, the more confused and angered you are about thier existence. Worthless.)
