The moobs are back! Simon Cowell takes to the jetski again as he returns to Barbados for a Christmas in the sun

Action man: Simon Cowell hasn't wasted any time getting into holiday mode after arriving in Barbados

Most mere mortals in the UK will spend Christmas shivering under a blanket of snow.

But with this year's X Factor earnings sitting comfortably in his pocket, Simon Cowell is already enjoying his annual luxury holiday in Barbados.

The reality show supremo got straight down to the business of having fun, and showed off his action man skills for photographers as he took his jet ski out for a spin on the Caribbean.

Wearing white shorts, sunglasses and an open life jacket, the 51-year-old X Factor boss sped across the idyllic blue sea on the powerful machine.

And by the looks of it, this year's tense X Factor season is already a distant memory.

Cowell seeks privacy while at his beachfront villa, but was more than happy to be snapped demonstrating his moves on the water, and smiled and acknowledged photographers with a thumbs up.

It was a solo sea adventure for Simon, with none of his holiday companions in sight.

It was reported yesterday that Cowell jetted off to Barbados without fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy.

Instead, the music mogul has brought along ex-girlfriend Sinitta for company, who he is still famously friendly with, The Mirror reported.

Simon is thought to be staying in a private villa at the £10,000-a-night Sandy Lane resort on the Caribbean island, where he spends every Christmas.

Fellow judge Danni Minogue also made a quick exit after the final show, jetting back to Australia earlier this week.

Cowell is said to have been stung for £100 in duty charges to bring a stack of his favourite beers on holiday.

He was stopped by customs officers in Barbados and told to fork out the fee for being over the duty free limit after he flew in 10 cases of Japanese beer Sapporo on his private jet, according to The Sun.

Holiday: Simon Cowell is also currently in Barbados, but instead of taking fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy (pictured), he is accompanied by ex-girlfriend Sinitta

Mezhgan, 37, is believed to have remained at the millionaire's London mansion.

She joined Cowell at the weekend for the X Factor finals, with Sinitta, 42, and another one of his exesTerri Seymour ,36, also seen at the show's London studios.

Last month make-up artist Mezhgan spoke out to deny reports they had gone their separate ways.

‘I still love him and he says he still loves me and we are still engaged - as far as I know,’ she said.

Despite reports his most recent ex-girlfriend Terri - who he dated for around six years before their split in 2008 - was joining him, the TV presenter's spokesperson insisted she is currently back in Los Angeles working.

Although she is on good terms with Simon, she will be holidaying over Christmas with her new boyfriend.

Meanwhile back in the UK, Cowell's team are working overtime ensuring X Factor winner Matt Cardle gets to number one.

His spokesman has told how the 27-year-old will be 'looked after' well following his X Factor success.

'Matt will certainly have control over his music, every element is collaborative, the label will open the doors to the right and the best producers in the world for him,' she told the Halstead Gazette.

'There are a lot of conversations to be had but I know Matt may be keen to have a band with him and that’s something which will certainly be discussed more.

Cardle tweeted this morning that he would be spending the morning with Syco in meetings with Sony music.
