Who's the dummy responsible for this? Taylor Swift unveils a waxwork model that looks nothing like her

By Daily Mail Reporter

Country music sensation Taylor Swift unveiled her new wax statue today at Madame Tussauds in London.

The singer gave her doppelgänger a thumbs up as she posed alongside it in a shimmering black and silver dress by British designer Jenny Packham.

But the statue didn't actually bear that much of a resemblance to the 20-year-old, who managed to be terribly polite nonetheless.

The makers of the wax statue seemed to have used a mystery blonde girl as a model for the statue, which slightly resembled Swift around the eyes but not anywhere else.

And even the matching dress and guitar didn't make it look more like her.

But the You Belong With Me star is remaining upbeat and positive about her new twin.

She even posted a picture of herself with the statue on her Twitter page, with the caption 'Bring on the pretenders'.

With a new album to promote, Swift needs a lot of clothes, especially on busy days in the Big Apple, America's fashion capital.

Swift, 20, pulled off four different looks yesterday during a hurried morning and evening in New York City to talk up her new CD, Speak Now.
The songstress started out the morning in a sparkly silver dress for a performance on the chat show Today.

A few hours later she wore three different outfits as she sang, performed in skits and sat down on David Letterman's Late Show to talk about the album and her song writing process.

Among the looks-- a bouncy pink dress, fitted jeans with a plaid shirt, and a stunning yellow dress with red shoes.

But Swift's interview with the controversial talk show host wasn't completely sunny.
It took a bizarre turn when Letterman, 63, made a weird comment about Swift's perfume saying it smelled 'like expensive wood,' noting that the scent is subtle and pleasing.

However, the charming singer played it off, at first looking shocked then laughing and saying: 'That is the most unique compliment I've ever gotten.'

Speak Now, Swift's third album, was released in the U.S. Monday.
She said it is her first international release, so she’s been all over the world promoting it.

Swift also bragged that she had learned a few phrases in other languages, showing off her Japanese on Letterman saying: 'Are you having fun,' 'I love Japan,' and 'Japan is awesome.'
